Cabinet Approves Saudi Budget 2024

The Saudi Council of Ministers will hold a session to approve the general budget of the state for the new fiscal year (2024), at a time when the Saudi Ministry of Finance announced the preliminary statement of the budget for the fiscal year 2024 with expenditures of 1.25 trillion riyals and revenues of 1.17 trillion riyals.

The government expects a limited deficit of about 1.9 percent of GDP in the 2024 fiscal world budget. It also expects a limited deficit of about 1.9 percent of GDP in the budget for the fiscal world 2024.

Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan stressed that "the government is continuing the process of structural reforms on the financial and economic sides, to develop and diversify its economy" and raising sustainable economic growth rates while maintaining financial sustainability."
