Meta reported better-than-expected results for the third quarter, with revenue up 23 percent, the fastest growth rate since 2021.
Earnings were $4.39 per share versus $3.63 expected by LSEG, while revenue was $34.15 billion versus $33.56 billion expected.
The number of daily active users (DAUs) was 2.09 billion, versus 2.07 billion expected, according to “StreetAccount”. The number of monthly active users (MAUs) was 3.05 billion, keeping pace with expectations. Meta is seeing faster growth in its core digital advertising business as customers recover from a difficult 2022 when revenue fell for three consecutive quarters.
