“Moody's” has introduced a new technology powered by generative artificial intelligence to help employees save hours of analyzing vast amounts of data and writing reports.
The rating agency will provide employees with large language models from Google Cloud that will quickly scrutinize both public documents and the company's information database to help them write the analysis, with the aim of enabling a wide range of employees to work on projects that previously required expertise in areas such as programming, finance, and accounting.
According to Moody's, "What would have taken a long day now takes literally 5 minutes. There are hundreds of use cases. Our approach was to just put it in the hands of our employees so they could start deciding where they could make changes to the way they worked."
