Saudi Arabia's Economy Grows by 1.9% in 2023

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has predicted that Saudi Arabia's real GDP will grow by 1.9 percent this year, in line with estimates released by the International Monetary Fund earlier this month.

In its report on the economic prospects, the organization expected the growth of the Saudi economy to accelerate to 3.1 percent, and the annual inflation rate in the Kingdom will remain stable at 2.5 percent this year and decline to 2.1 percent in 2024. According to the latest data issued by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics, the Kingdom's economy grew by 1.2 percent in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year, while growth reached 8.7 percent in 2022.
