“OpenAI” is heading for $1 billion in annual revenue as companies embrace the technology behind “ChatGPT”, a generative AI robot that has sparked a wave of AI investment.
According to Bloomberg, the Microsoft-backed startup generates monthly revenue of about $80 million. The company lost about $540 million in 2022 in the development of “GPT-4” and “ChatGPT”.
OpenAI is one of many companies leading generative AI, which can create content from videos to poetry with just a few simple user commands.
