Gartner Research predicted that revenues from semiconductor markets around the world will decline by 11.2 percent in 2023. The total revenues of these markets reached the threshold of $ 599.6 billion in 2022, which represented a slight growth of 0.2% compared to 2021.
Near-term market estimates point to a further decline in semiconductor markets. It also indicates that semiconductor market revenues are close to nearly $532 billion in 2023.
According to Gartner, with the continuation of adverse economic conditions, markets are witnessing the contagion of declining demand for electronics from the final consumer to the business sector, which contributes to creating an unstable environment for investment.
