For the First Time in 4 years, the Revenues of the World's Largest Chip Company Declined

Revenue from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, the world's largest chipmaker, fell about 15 percent in March year-on-year, the first decline in nearly four years.

The company said its revenue fell to NT$145.41 billion ($4.78 billion) last month, compared with NT$171.9 billion during the same period a year earlier. However, at the same time, the company's revenue rose 3.6 percent in the first quarter of 2023 on a year-on-year basis to NT$508.6 billion ($16.73 billion).
