The meetings of the Executive Office, the General Assembly, and the Board of Directors of the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry were held in Geneva. Where the Board of Directors reviewed the Chamber's work plan and activities for the year 2023, provided that the next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held in June 2023 to discuss the budget.
In its meeting, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the election of Rached Kaabi, a member of its Board of Directors, as Vice President of the Arab-Swiss Chamber, in addition to the election of Mr. Samir Majoul, President of the Tunisian Union of Industry and Commerce, as Second Vice President.
The two meetings discussed many topics aimed at strengthening trade cooperation relations between Switzerland and the Arab world, where the importance of enhancing trade exchanges between Arab countries and Switzerland and encouraging mutual investments was emphasized.
Since its establishment in 1974, the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been the vital commercial link for doing business between Switzerland and the Arab world. Aiming to strengthen economic and cultural relations between Switzerland and the Arab countries, improve and expand opportunities for industrial and technical cooperation between the two sides, encourage technology transfer, vocational training, and the establishment of joint companies in the fields of industry and trade.
