The Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Al-Issis, explained that "despite the challenges and difficulties, our national economy will record positive growth rates of at least 2.7 percent, and will maintain inflation levels of 4 percent," stressing "the government's keenness to implement as much as possible of the parliamentary demands, without compromising financial stability and lifting the tax burden on the citizen."
