The Egyptian-Japanese Business Council held a meeting with Japanese businessmen to discuss economic conditions and ways to support and develop them to advance the Egyptian economy, in the presence of the Japanese Ambassador to Cairo, Hiroshi Oka, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Japan, Mohamed Abu Bakr.
The President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Chairman of the Egyptian-Japanese Business Council, Eng. Ibrahim El-Araby, affirmed that "Egyptian-Japanese relations have witnessed a great boom in many fields in recent years." Pointing out that "the organization of the Egyptian-Japanese forum aims to increase trade and economic exchange between the two countries in various fields."
Al-Araby explained that "the activities of the joint Egyptian-Japanese forum witnessed a presentation of the investment environment and incentives in Egypt, as well as the presentations of all Japanese companies represented in the members of the delegation, who presented their activities and aspirations to invest in Egypt." He called on the Japanese delegation to "visit the major projects that were established during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, especially the Suez Canal economic zone and a number of major industrial complexes, to find out about the positive developments witnessed by the infrastructure and the investment and business environment in Egypt today." He expressed his hope to achieve tangible results on the ground through cooperation and joint investments between the Egyptian and Japanese sides.
