Abdullah Al-Mazrouei Discusses Developing Economic Relations with the Delegation of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, the President of the Federation of Chambers of the United Arab Emirates, the President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Muhammad Al Mazrouei, a delegation from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce headed by the Chamber's Secretary-General Tamer Mansour, and in the presence of the Chamber's regional advisor in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Iraq and Yemen, Shaheen Ali Shaheen, and the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, Muhammad Hilal Al Muhairi.

During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing preparations for the convening of the Arab-Brazilian Economic Forum next July in the Brazilian city of San Paulo. The forum aims to strengthen economic, commercial and investment cooperation relations between the Arab and Brazilian sides.

At the outset of the meeting, Al Mazrouei welcomed the delegation of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber, noting the role played by the Chamber in strengthening economic relations between Arab countries and Brazil on the one hand, and between the United Arab Emirates and Brazil on the other. Al Mazrouei praised the prominent and exceptional role played by the Dubai Regional Office of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber in providing opportunities for business owners from the UAE to meet with business owners and investors from Brazil and the Arab member states and exchange ideas with them, which contributed to strengthening and creating partnerships in the trade and investment fields.

Al Mazrouei referred to the distinguished relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Brazil, noting that they are a model of integration, which shows great potential for cooperation in many commercial, industrial and investment sectors. He pointed out that the exchange of visiting delegations from Brazil could contribute to enhancing cooperation opportunities and opening new horizons between Abu Dhabi and Brazil.

For his part, Tamer Mansour, during the meeting, touched on the prominent role played by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in setting a program and an action plan to enhance its role across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and contribute to achieving the goals for which the Chamber's international office was established in the UAE. Pointing to the remarkable development witnessed by the UAE-Brazilian relations, where the volume of trade and investment exchange has doubled dramatically in recent years. He called for maximizing Arab-Brazilian cooperation, as Brazil is an important economic partner for the Arab world.
