Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammed Al-Sager praised the distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that the two brotherly countries have good potentials to develop trade and investment cooperation.
During his meeting with the Kingdom's ambassador to Kuwait, Prince Sultan Bin Saad Bin Khalid Al Saud at the Chamber's building, he noted that "the brotherly ties that unite the two countries make it necessary to exert more efforts in order to achieve the desired economic goals."
He referred to the Kuwait-Saudi Economic Forum, which was held on the sidelines of the visit of Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, to Kuwait. Noting that the Kingdom's experience is an exemplary example, expressing his hope that more joint efforts will be made and the establishment of events that would enhance joint economic ties between the two brotherly countries.
For his part, the Saudi ambassador thanked the Chamber for the important role it plays in developing trade relations between the two countries, expressing his hope that the investment opportunities available in the Kingdom will be exploited and strategic partnerships established between the Saudi and Kuwaiti business sectors due to the openness and development that the Kingdom is witnessing. He praised the efforts made by the Kingdom's government to facilitate entry into the Saudi market to attract Gulf and foreign investors and open new economic horizons.
