The Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khaled Hanafy, met during his visit to the United Arab Emirates, with the Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, in the presence of the Regional Advisor to the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Iraq and Yemen, Shaheen Ali Shaheen.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Union of Arab Chambers and the Ministry of State for Foreign Trade in the UAE, to serve common aspirations, goals and interests. Hanafy also invited Minister Al-Zeyoudi to support and sponsor the activities of the Union of Arab Chambers in the Forum of the Arab-Russian Business Council, which will be held within the framework of the Dubai Expo 2020 in Dubai, during the period January 25-26, 2022, under the title "Russia and the Arab World - New Opportunities in the New Reality", this was organized jointly by the Union of Arab Chambers, the Russian Section of the Arab-Russian Business Council, and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the United Arab Emirates.
Hanafy expressed his pleasure that the event was held under the patronage and presence of Minister Al Zeyoudi who also deliver a speech at the opening ceremony, noting the distinguished efforts he is making to promote and develop the foreign trade of the United Arab Emirates.
It is worth noting that the forum will be attended by high-ranking official Russian figures, Leaders of Arab Chambers and their Unions, Major Companies, Institutions and Business Owners from the Russian side, as well as their counterparts from the Arab World.
