Abdullah Al Mazrouei, the New Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry

H. H. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, has appointed a new BOD for Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by Abdullah Muhammad Al Mazrouei, and composed of: Ali Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri as the first vice chairman of the council, Youssef Ali Abdul Qader as second vice chairman, and Masoud Rahma Al Muhairbi as the Treasurer and Saeed Ghamran Al-Rumaithi as Vice Treasurer. The council also included in its membership: Jassim Muhammad Al Seddiqi, Saeed Sultan Al Dhaheri, Khaled Abdul Karim Al Fahim, Khalifa Saif Al Ketbi, Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, Ahmed Khalifa Al Muhairi, Alaa Muhammad Erikat, Talal Shafiq Al Dhiyebi, Marwa Abdullah Al Mansouri, Nour Muhammad Al Tamimi and Khadija Ali Al-Amiri, Jassim Hussein Thabet, Bassam Adeeb Gilmiran, Fouad Fahmy Darwish, Hatem Muhammad Dowidar, Khaled Anib, Yasser Nasr Zaghloul, Waseem Muhammad Al-Halabi, Amer Fayez Qaqish, Sayed Basr Shuaib, Rashid Mikati, Alan Leslie Smith, Carl Magnus Olson and Elias Nabil Habib. The new members represent the majority of the various vital sectors in the emirate.

According to the new formation, the council represents 23 founders, CEOs and presidents with leadership experiences drawn from 15 countries across 5 continents, where the percentage of private sector representation reaches 50 percent, and the percentage of members of the board are UAE nationals (57%). The economic sectors represented by the new members exceed 15 core sectors, including financial services, healthcare, logistics, communications, agriculture, industry and technology, and their business areas include listed public companies, multinational groups of companies, family businesses and start-ups.
