The Kuwaiti dinar ranked first as the strongest currency in the world according to the classification of Good Returns website, which showed that the Kuwaiti dinar is widely considered the strongest currency in the world as it is used in oil-related transactions in the Middle East.
The Bahraini dinar was the second most expensive currency in circulation, with an exchange rate of 2.65 US dollars as in May 2021. The national currency of the Sultanate of Oman ranks third among the most valuable currencies in the world. While the Jordanian dinar came in fourth place, as the Jordanian government maintains the stability of the exchange rate of the dinar, which is one of the main reasons for the appreciation of its currency. The pound sterling, the national currency of the United Kingdom, ranks as the fifth most valuable currency in the world. The Gibraltar pound, which is linked to the British pound sterling at face value and can be exchanged for it, came in sixth place. In seventh place was the Cayman Islands dollar, a British region in the Caribbean known as one of the best tax havens in the world. The European Euro, which is the official currency of 19 out of the 28 member states of the European Union, ranked eighth, and the Swiss franc ranked ninth. Despite the high global demand for it and the fact that it is one of the most widely used currencies in the world, the US dollar ranks tenth in terms of the most valuable currencies in the world.
