The Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Al Kabariti, confirmed that the current phase requires everyone to close ranks and join hands to overcome the heavy burden, challenges and economic difficulties facing the country.

Al Kabariti stated that the commercial and service sector throughout the Kingdom is aware of the size of the responsibility that rests with the government, and the difficult decisions that are issued to correct the tracks or reduce the risks, considering that the commercial sector is in dire need of a stand from the government and various official institutions to support and help the national economy to withstand and continue.

Al Kabariti called for reconsidering the hours of the curfew, which exhausted merchants financially, pointing out that the commercial and service sector, although it places the economy at the top of its priorities, realizes the importance of citizens' health and safety.

He also pointed out that the scarcity of cash has become a concern for the commercial and service sector, despite the decisions issued by the Central Bank, which are the subject of everyone’s appreciation, calling for a review of the tax basket and the mechanism for collecting them.
