Dubai jumped 3 places in the list of the 100 best cities in the world, issued by Resonance Consultancy, as it rose from the ninth globally in 2019 to the sixth in 2020, while Abu Dhabi jumped from 40th to the 41st globally.
The classification determines the best cities and measures the relative quality of the place, reputation, and competitive identity of the major cities in the world with a population of no less than one million people. The classification is widely recognized as the world's most comprehensive classification of cities, based on an innovative approach that analyzes key statistical data, in addition to user reviews and online activity such as "Google", "Facebook" and "Instagram".
The classification of the best cities in the world includes experimental factors that individuals consider to be the most important in choosing a city to live in and visit, in addition to applied factors that are considered the most important business decision makers on business.
The "Resonance" classification does not consider while ranking the best cities to live, work, or visit, but rather takes a more comprehensive approach by using a large number of factors that follow positive links with attractive job opportunities and investment, ranging from the number of restaurants, museums, monuments and tourist sites that each city is offering, and the number of major Global 500 companies, direct flights and signals for each city on the "Instagram" application.
