The Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Sami Al-Obaidy, stressed the "importance of the Saudi-Cyprus investment partnership in various fields.
Al-Obaidy pointed out during his meeting with the Cypriot Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Stavros Evo Stedes at the library of the Council’s headquarters, that “the Kingdom’s vision 2020 aims to create economic and investment integration with the friendly countries, including the Republic of Cyprus, because of its natural wealth and unique geographical location”, considering that “the stability of the Cyprus economic markets attracts Saudi investors and businessmen to create partnerships and sign broad agreements that increase trade exchange rates for them and open new channels for investments."
For his part, the Cypriot Ambassador affirmed his government's keenness on wide investment cooperation, which would be an extension of the successes of Saudi business owners investing in Cyprus, and harnessing all the financial capabilities, geographical advantages and natural resources of Saudi investment, welcoming the Saudi business owners to invest in Cyprus, especially in the field of tourism, air and sea travel, energy and real estate.
