Sameer Nass Discusses Strengthening Economic & Investment Cooperation Between Bahrain & Egypt

The President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Abdullah Nass, expressed his pride and appreciation for the distinguished mutual and economic relations that bond the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt. His words came after meeting Mr. Yasser Shaaban, the new appointed Egyptian Ambassador to the kingdom of Bahrain, at the premises of the House of Merchants. 

Mr. Nass welcomed the Egyptian ambassador, wishing him success in his new duties, in a way that strengthens partnership and cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields, stressing the Chamber's constant keenness to cooperate with the embassy in everything that would advance the Bahraini-Egyptian joint investment relations.

Nass praised the steps and initiatives taken by Egypt to develop attractive and supportive laws for investment, and its focus on developing the infrastructure that led to the economic recovery in the country and attracting foreign investment. He also stressed that the Bahraini private sector always seeks to expand its commercial and economic relations, and to push it towards broader horizons with brotherly and friendly countries.

For his part, the Egyptian ambassador expressed his aspiration to continue working to strengthen the pathway of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in the areas of economic and investment cooperation, calling on the Bahraini private sector to take advantage of the many investment opportunities available, especially in the field of the national and service projects.
