The Kingdom of Bahrain hosted a meeting of the Bahraini-Russian Business Council, which was held on the sidelines of the Russian exhibition of goods and services under the title: "Made in Russia", in the presence of an economic gathering from the Bahraini and Russian sides, spearhead by Sameer Nass, the Chairman of BCCI and Vladimir Dmitriev, the vice-President of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The events aimed at discussing the frameworks and mechanisms for enhancing the cooperation and partnership between the two sides in all fields of business.
Mr. Sameer Nass expressed his great pride in the Bahraini-Russian relations thanks to the support of the political leadership in both countries and the sincere desire to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in order to achieve the common goals. Pointing out "the need to invest the relations’ development between the two friendly countries to promote the economic relations and upgrade them to levels that meet the aspirations of business owners on both sides, especially in the light of the available potentials."
In return, Dmitriev appreciated the joint efforts of both sides to increase and enhance the volume of trade exchanges, stressing the keenness of the Russian business owners and their real desire to create successful partnerships with their Bahraini counterparts, especially in light of the promising opportunities in many fields.
