Egypt Launches 2000 New Investment Opportunities

The Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation revealed the second edition of Egypt's investment map, which included 2000 new investment opportunities, including opportunities in national projects such as the Suez Canal Economic Zone and the new administrative capital, as well as investment opportunities for the first time in the antiquities sector. The second edition includes the option of creating an electronic account for investors seeking investment opportunities, which provides a number of benefits to users, including the addition of an opportunity to a preference list of investment opportunities, and send investment opportunities to other investors, and download files of opportunities for comparison, and make suggestions for the development of the map.

In this context, Dr. Sahar Nasr, Egypt's Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, said that "the second edition of Egypt's investment map is the result of the Ministry's efforts to use information technology to create an attractive investment environment, and it represents a vast edition to the first edition which was launched by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in February 2018, with the opening of investors services centers, and in accordance with the provisions of the new investment law by charting Egypt investment map and adopting it as an official map of the state through which all investment opportunities from all economic sectors, to facilitate all investors’ work and introduce them to the opportunities, investment incentives and motivations provided by the new investment law."
