Rubens Hannun: Brazilian Investors Have a Real Desire to Invest in Egypt

"The political relations between Brazil and the Arab Republic of Egypt are historic and deep, and this relationship must be translated into investment, especially since Brazilian investors have a real desire to invest in Egypt in general and invest in the economic zone of Suez channel in particular", said Rubens Hannun, President of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber.

The words of Hannun were during the activities of the Egyptian-Brazilian Business Forum, attended by Roy Amaral, the Brazilian Ambassador to Cairo and a Brazilian delegation of 22 Brazilian companies, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the Advisor to the Executive Vice President of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, Ambassador Reda Bebars, the Advisor to the Minister of International Cooperation Ambassador, Emad Elsewedy, the Egyptian Chairman in the Egyptian-Brazilian Business Council, and Malik Fawaz, the Ministry's Advisor for Investment Promotion.

The president of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce pointed out that "the Brazilian side seeks to establish long-term partnerships and projects," calling on the Minister of Investment, International Cooperation and Egyptian businessmen to visit Brazil to learn about the Brazilian economic experience and investment opportunities there.
