Trade Exchange Between Egypt and the World Rises 11.32%

A report issued by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), revealed that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the world countries increased during the first half of the fiscal year 2018-2019 by 11.32 percent year-on-year basis amounting to $47.7 billion, $33.5 billion of which as imports & 2 billion dollars are exports.

The report showed that 14 countries accounted for 60 percent of the total trade volume. China came first with an exchange of about $3.3 billion, followed by the United States with $3 billion, the United Arab Emirates with $2.79 billion, Italy with $2.55 billion, then Saudi Arabia with $2.5 billion.
