The Saudi-Bulgarian Business Forum, was held at the headquarters of the Council of the Saudi Chambers in the capital Riyadh. It was attended by Emil Karanikolov, the Bulgarian Minister of Economy and an accompanying business delegation, during which they discussed ways to develop the trade exchange and signing investment agreements.
Mounir Bin Saad, the Vice-President of CSC said during the forum "the Kingdom has an integrated infrastructure and diversified investment opportunities that need efficient means to enable the Bulgarian and Saudi companies to cooperate in all economic fields, exchange knowledge and open new channels for the investment cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of health care, light industry, tourism and leisure, renewable energy and information technology. Mr. Bin Saad called on the Bulgarian companies to invest in the Kingdom and exploit the promising investment opportunities in all fields.
For his part, the Bulgarian Minister of Economy said that "the Bulgarian government puts the commercial and industrial relations with Saudi Arabia among the priorities of its foreign economic policy and will support all initiatives in favor of cooperation between the two countries."
As for Dimitar Abadjiev, Bulgarian Ambassador to the Kingdom, he expressed his concern about facilitating the Bulgarian visas for Saudis, developing trade exchange and holding investment partnerships between the two countries.
