The Saudi-Indian Business Council was held in New Delhi - India under the chairmanship of the President of the Council of the Saudi Chambers Dr. Sami Al Obaidy. The meeting was attended by a number of business owners from both sides, in conjunction with the visit of His Royal Highness the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister & the current Minister of Defense, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to the republic of India.
The Saudi-Indian Forum discussed the agenda of the Saudi and Indian Councils for the coming period through business and industry, and coordinated the mutual visits of the specialized delegations in the fields of investment between the two countries, focusing on the promising investment opportunities in the sectors of oil and gas, tourism, minerals, health care, information technology and infrastructure.
They also discussed the opportunities of Saudi-Indian trade and investment cooperation, creating new paths for economic cooperation and achieving long-term economic leapfrogging by activating discussions and concluding more agreements in an effort to increase the trade volume between the two sides, which amounted to 94 billion riyals 2017.
