The Saudi capital Riyadh hosted the activities of the Saudi-UAE Economic Forum, which was jointly organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the United Arab Emirates and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, the Minister of Commerce and Investment of Saudi Arabia, H.E Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, Dr. Sami Al Obaidy the president of the council of Saudi chambers, Abdullah bin Sultan Al Owais, the deputy chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and about 200 Saudi and Emirati business owners.
Dr. Sami Al Obaidy, said that "the meeting confirms that the economic factor is the main engine and the most influential in drawing the map of Saudi-UAE relations," adding that "economic cooperation between the two countries is an indispensable step towards improving trade relations and the investment to the level that aspires everyone," adding that "the size of the Saudi-UAE economic relations is the largest among the GCC countries."
For his part, Abdullah bin Sultan Al Owais, the deputy chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UAE, said that "the economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia are old and eternal and are in continuous development."
