Dr. Sami Al-Obaidy, chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce pointed out "the Saudi investments in Egypt represent a strategy for the Kingdom's government to develop its trade relations and is considered the main weight of this trend." Al-Obaidy added, "Saudi investors have developed these investments to reach record numbers that serve as a role model between the two brotherly countries, the Saudi Kingdom and Egypt".
He pointed out that "Saudi investors have hopes, aspirations and desire to have a real development of this partnership represented by the support and solutions to some of the problems, and to open new horizons and new markets through the twinning between the Kingdom and Egypt commercially."
In turn, the President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmed El-Wakil explained that "cooperation between small and medium enterprises in the Kingdom and Egypt will be activated through linking the chambers of commerce in the two countries, which will be activated by holding two joint meetings with the aim of opening channels of direct communication between the chambers from both sides for the benefit of the affiliated members (SMEs) and offer opportunities for joint cooperation in different provinces."
