The Council of Saudi Chambers will host the 50th meeting of the Federation of the GCC Chambers in its headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of Chairmen of GCC Chambers and their respective Board of Directors in addition to their General Secretariat.
On this occasion, Mohammed Al Rumaithi, head of the Federation of the GCC Chambers, said, "The meeting will discuss important topics of interest that will accelerate the development and success of the Federation's March, especially in the midst of developments and changes facing the economies of the GCC countries. The intense efforts towards strengthening the Gulf Private sector, which, today, has many important issues, also need to be raised and the obstacles that still face in one way or another the joint GCC Economic Action need to be removed.”
For his part, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al Obaidy, 1st Vice President of the Federation and Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, said, "The periodic Meeting of the Federation comes amidst many challenges and developments in the region, which require many efforts and continued cooperation to complete the March of Unity, Economic Integration, and the Common Gulf Market, that the leaders of the GCC Countries and their people aspire to. He addressed the importance of activating the role of the Private sector in the Development Process of the GCC countries, formulating the directions of the Gulf Economic Action and participating actively in accelerating the implementation of economic unity projects."
