In its ninth annual World Wealth Report, the Credit Suisse Research Institute ranked the UAE as one of the wealthiest countries in terms of per capita wealth. The total wealth of individuals in the UAE was $ 684 billion (Dh2.5 trillion). Thus, per capita income is 88.17 thousand dollars.
World wealth rose 4.6 percent to $317 trillion in the 12 months from mid-2017 to mid-2018, and wealth per capita grew by 3.2 percent, helping to boost global wealth to a record $ 63,100 per capita.
Switzerland remained the richest country in the world, with a wealth per capita of about $530,000, followed by Australia with $411,000, then the United States with $403,000 and Belgium with $313,000.
