Sameer Abdullah Nass, Chairman of the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), received a delegation from the International Labor Organization (ILO), headed by its legal expert, Karen Monahan, where they discussed a number of issues related to Labor Laws in Bahrain in addition to discussing ways to develop their joint cooperation.
Sameer Nass expressed his interest in finding means of action and cooperation between the Chamber and International Labor Organization, in order to develop a partnership between the concerned parties in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He stressed that "the Chamber supports the efforts of the Organization which serves the interest of strengthening partnership between the parties."
Karen Mohanan briefed the efforts of ILO and explained, “the organization is helping in finding solutions to many of the challenges facing the production process, by developing an appropriate working environment and strengthening social dialogue so that employers along with Governments can contribute to developing solutions to economic and social problems, which could be through proposing programs aimed at developing human resources.”
