According to ZED/JPY Group’s research on 110 centers around the world, Dubai ranked first in the Arab World and 15th globally in the Global Financial Centers Index.
The Index is based on five key factors, which include business environment, financial sector development, infrastructure, human capital, general factors, and reputation. The index is also based on external evaluations from third parties, including World Bank, Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) of the UK's Economist Group, and United Nations.
According to the Index, the list of Arab cities included Abu Dhabi which ranked second in the Arab World and 26th in the World, followed by Casablanca, which ranked 28th in the World, while Doha in the fifth position in the Arab World, and 34th in the World, then Manama in the sixth position in the Arab World and 59th in the World, and finally, Riyadh, which ranked seventh in the Arab World and 69th globally.
