Kuwait: Development projects worth 41.2 billion dollars

A report issued by the Partnership Authority and the Supreme Council for Planning and Development in Kuwait revealed that the Kuwaiti Government will start implementing 60 projects under the Development Plan "New Kuwait", worth 12.5 billion dinars (41.2 billion dollars).
According to the report, the maximum duration of these projects is 5 years, all of which should be completed by 2023. The projects follow 25 governmental bodies in various fields, including oil and health projects and cities’ projects on employment and infrastructure.
"These new projects will reveal business opportunities for the first time in Kuwait, and the country will enter a new phase of international projects that will have a great impact over the next five years," said Moataz Nabil, General Manager of Kuwait International Construction Group.
"These projects’ expansion related to infrastructure development and public-private partnership such as schools, metro, energy, railways, parks and health, have great opportunities for companies, especially in the construction sector," Nabil finalized.
