Qatar has the World's Highest Per Capita Income

The statistics of the World Bank revealed that the State of Qatar is at the top of the world scoring among the highest per capita income. The classification was based on the following indicators: per capita gross national income (gni), gross domestic product (GDP), inflation rates, exchange rate in national currency and assessment of the population.
According to the World Bank, Qatar's ranking among the highest-income countries during the year 2019, is due to the economic recovery experienced by the country and the ability of the Qatari economy to cope with all the changes and challenges that the world has experienced over the past years.
The World Bank estimated Qatar's gross national income at $161.18 billion by the end of 2017, while the country's GDP was estimated at $167.60 billion during the same year. The World Bank also estimated per capita national income at $128.06 thousands in 2017.
