The Arab Union for Industrial Exports Development and the African Export-Import Bank, organize the Intra-African Trade Fair, in cooperation with the Commission of the European Union, from 11 to 17 December at Egypt International Exhibition Center – Cairo where Egypt hose the current session of this fair.
The exhibition aims to stimulate and support intra-African trade by providing a giant trading platform to showcase various goods and services as well as investment opportunities. The exhibition is also accompanied by conferences and workshops to discuss the obstacles intra-trade processes face to come up with effective recommendations to solve such problems. The programs of support and financing of intra-African trade are also presented by the African Export-Import Bank and other financial institutions.
African countries and other countries are participating in the exhibition where each country organizes its pavilion in a manner that achieves the objectives of its participation and enables it to present its industries as it sees fit. The participating companies can present their products and services in all industrial, agricultural and service sectors.
The exhibition, conferences and accompanying seminars are expected to be attended by African Presidents, Trade & Industry Ministers and Central Banks Governors, as well as more than 1,000 exhibitors from Africa and the world. While the exhibition is expected to have more than one hundred thousand visitors of importers, traders, and owners of companies and factories in Egypt, Africa and the world.
