The 9th Fujairah International Mining Forum and its accompanying exhibition will be held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi - Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, under the slogan "Mining Investment... Sustainable Development", in the Emirate of Fujairah during the period from 29 to 31 October 2024, in cooperation between the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, and the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization.

The conference is being held in view of the importance of the mineral wealth sector and its related industries in supporting national economies and contributing to achieving sustainable development goals, and based on the need to encourage mining investment, make good use of mineral resources, and enhance their value chain in light of global trends.

The conference will witness the active participation of ministries, agencies, institutions, companies, universities, scientific research centers related to the mining sector, investors, and decision-makers specialized in this sector from Arab and foreign countries.

The forum’s activities are distinguished by holding dialogue sessions and specialized workshops covering all the forum’s axes. Bilateral meetings will also be held, in addition to the accompanying exhibition to learn about the modern and innovative mining products and services of Arab and foreign companies and institutions working in the mining sector. This edition of the forum is distinguished by an exceptional and unique event, represented by the launch ceremony of an award for the best sustainable mining practices for distinguished establishments working in the mining sector in the Emirate of Fujairah.
