The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) in India, in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), is organizing the World Food India (WFI) 2023 from 3rd – 5th November 23 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, bringing together investors, manufacturers, producers, food processors, policy makers and organizations from the global food ecosystem. FICCI is the Event partner for WFI 2023.
WFI 2023 is envisaged on a huge scale, with an aim to showcase India as the Food Basket of the World and to explore the investment and collaboration opportunities in food processing, technology & equipment, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, cold chain, and food retail. The Focus Sub Sectors of Food Processing are Ready to Eat/ Ready to Cook; Fruits & Vegetables; Dairy & Value-added Dairy Products; Meat & Poultry; Fisheries & Marine; Machinery & Packaging; Technology & Innovations and Other Allied categories.
WFI 2023 comprises of Exhibition, Conference and Thematic knowledge sessions, Reverse Buyer Seller Meet – B2B, B2G and G2G meetings, Indian states and International pavilions, CEO Roundtables, and Food Street, Startup Awards, and much more. WFI 2023 focuses on several key factors, such as showcasing India as an export hub for processed food, promoting sustainable Green Food, introducing White Revolution 2.0 and Blue Revolution, alongside others. The event is expected to be inaugurated by PM Narenda Modi.
