The appropriate visions for enhancing the integration between the Arab banks and the federations of chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture in support of sustainable development projects in the Arab region

In recognition of its responsibilities, the Union of Arab Chambers is intensifying its activities to enhance the capacities and role of the Arab Chambers and the Arab private sector in various issues of development, investment and economic integration on a sustainable basis. To this end, it has signed several cooperation agreements with Arab and international poles, foremost among which is the Union of Arab Banks. A “Joint Cooperation Document” was signed on 6/4/2017 aiming to enhance cooperation to serve the common objectives of the joint Arab action.

The Union of Arab Chambers is more than aware of the key role of the Arab private sector and the institutions that represents it, from the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and their associations, in achieving the objectives of sustainable development in the Arab world and the opportunities offered in investing in these objectives and their results. Therefore, the cooperation between the business sector represented by Arab Chambers and the Arab banks and other Arab financial institutions is very essential in creating a sustainable and productive economy, in providing decent work opportunities, in investing in resilient infrastructure, in innovations that generate green growth and opportunities for all categories and segments the society. It is essential to contribute to bridging the funding gap in the Arab world to achieve sustainable development goals 2030.
