Turkey.. Tourism Revenues Exceed $20 Billion in 3 Months

Turkey's revenues from the tourism sector in the third quarter of this year amounted to more than 20 billion US dollars. Data from the Turkish Statistics Authority showed that the country's revenues from tourism increased by 31.1 percent during the mentioned period compared to the same period last year.

Revenues between July and September this year were $20,225,317,000.

Last year, revenues rose by 53.4 percent from the previous year, reaching a record high of $ 46.28 billion as the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic faded, and after the Ukrainian war led to an increase in the number of Russian tourists.
