Al Mazrouei Discusses Trade & Investment Relations with Turkey

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, President of the Federation of Emirates Chambers, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber Board of Directors, Abdullah Muhammad Al Mazrouei, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the UAE, Togay Tunshir, in the presence of the Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber Muhammad Hilal Al Muhairi.

Al Mazrouei expressed the importance of strengthening the close cooperation relations between the UAE and the Republic of Turkey, especially in the field of trade and investment relations. He stressed that the Turkish-UAE relations are considered strong and witness continuous development towards advancing the economic development process to advanced levels, thanks to the vision of its wise leaders. Al Mazrouei explained that "the UAE and Turkey are important trading partners keen to enhance their cooperation in various fields, and the UAE is Turkey's largest trading partner in the region." Pointing to “the importance of continuing intensive work between the business sectors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Turkey, as the business environment in Abu Dhabi is considered one of the most important commercial destinations that attract business, due to its great comparative advantages and stimulating investment and the exploration of vital economic fields in sectors of common interest. Most notably the tourism and hospitality sector, information technology and the fourth industrial revolution, renewable energy, food industries, food security, logistics and others.”

For his part, Turkish Ambassador Togay Tunshir praised the UAE's reaching advanced stages of development and prosperity, and congratulated it on the fiftieth anniversary of its founding and its celebration of pioneering achievements.
