The Executive Board of the FGCCC Examines the Reality of the Private Sector

The 49th meeting of the Executive Leadership Committee of the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was held via visual communication. The meeting dealt with many important issues related to the Gulf private sector, and among the most important items on the agenda was reviewing the report on the follow-up to the recommendations of the 48th meeting of the Executive Leadership Committee, which was held on December 7, 2020, in addition to the decisions and recommendations of the 54th meeting of the Federation Council. The committee also reviewed the comparative special report between the revenues and expenditures of the Federation’s General Secretariat and the financial final accounts of the Federation’s General Secretariat for the year 2020.

The meeting reviewed the draft annual report of the General Secretariat of the Federation for the year 2020, which included the economic return of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, through estimating its expected performance for the next three years, as well as the role of cooperation between the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council with the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council and unions and regional bodies and organizations. Also the agenda of the next 55th meeting of the Council of the Federation of Gulf Chambers was reviewed during the meeting.
