President of UAC meets with the President of FCCIAL

Mohamad Abdo Saeed, president of the Union of Arab Chambers, accompanied by the Secretary General Dr. Khalid Hanafi and the Assistant Secretary-General Shaheen Ali Shaheen, visited the headquarters of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber where he met with the President of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers Mohammed Choucair and discussed with him the activation of cooperation between the Arab Chambers to enhance and strengthen the Union’s role in the Arab economic and social life.
Choucair congratulated President Mohamad Abdo Saeed on his assumption of the presidency of the Union of Arab Chambers, stressing that "the Lebanese chambers and the private sector in Lebanon stand by the Union to achieve the common Arab economic interests." He assured the importance of enhancing the role of the Union of Arab Chambers to strengthen the presence of the Arab private sector and its active participation in drawing the Arab economic policies, which must be in line with progress at the global level. "
Choucair pointed out that "there are many projects to be worked on in the future, most notably, the creation of mechanisms to strengthen cooperation between the Arab private sector and activating it, because this is a key to sustainable growth in our Arab economies."
For his part, President Mohamad Abdo Saeed praised the pioneer economic role of Mr. Choucair on the Arab, Mediterranean and Lebanese levels, praising the ideas he put forward, all of which contribute to strengthening the Arab economic structure, stressing on “the necessity of concerted efforts of the Arab private sector to meet the economic and social challenges of most Arab countries”, affirming the cooperation and continuous coordination with Choucair to achieve the desired goals.
