The board of directors of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headed by Sameer Abdullah Nass, Chairman of the Chamber, has appointed Mr. Shakir Ebrahim Al Shater as Chief Executive Officer of the BCCI Chamber, effective 12th September 2018.
In this regard, Mr. Sameer Nass commended on the extensive work experience and academic credentials of Mr. Al Shater, and expressed his confidence in his ability to lead the executive body, reinforce productivity, and fulfill the aspirations of the private sector in line with the goals set by the board of directors.
Mr. Nass added, “The Chamber relies on its personal executives at various levels to achieve this goal and trusts the Board's decision on appointing Mr. Al Shater as head of the administrative and executive body. The Chamber also strongly believes in Mr. Al Shate’s abilities and potentials to work in the desired goal of the Chamber and to serve the private sector.”
Similarly, the board of directors praised the appointment of Mr. Al Shater and reinstated their support to all endeavors he is to take for the progress and development of this organization.
For his part, Mr. Al Shater expressed pride in the confidence bestowed upon him and vowed to exert all efforts to fulfill the board’s goals which come in line with the Bahrain Economic Vision.
