The Assistant Secretary-General of UAC and the designated Secretary General of the Arab-Indian Chamber, Shaheen Ali Shaheen, met on the sidelines of the 21st session of the Arab-German Economic Forum in Berlin, the Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi at the Chamber's headquarters in the presence of the Board of Directors and heads of departments of the chamber.
The Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber briefed the Assistant Secretary-General on the work of the Chamber through a tour within its administrative departments where he praised the successful and effective experience of the Chamber, especially with regard to the distinguished activity of the Secretariat and its staff.
Shaheen pointed out that "the Arab-German Chamber is one of the joint Arab foreign chambers operating through exceptional activities carried out throughout the year," congratulating the election of a new Board of Directors of the German-Arab Chamber under the chairmanship of Dr. Peter Ramsauer. Noting the success of the 21st Arab Economic Conference, through the official and active presence of the Arab countries and the Federal Republic of Germany, in particular His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait and Minister of Economy and Energy of the Federal Government of German Peter Altmaier.
Mr. Shaheen concluded by saying: "We appreciate the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Arab-German Chamber presented by Dr. Peter Ramsauer, and the Secretary-General of the Chamber, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Mikhlafi, on promoting the economic, trade and investment relations between the Arab countries and the Federal Republic of Germany, hoping for more coordination and cooperation between the Union of Arab Chambers and the Arab-German chamber of commerce in the next phase to serve the common interests. "
