Election of a new Board of Directors of the Arab - German Chamber

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers Senator Nael Raja Al-Kabariti, Secretary General of the Union Dr. Khalid Hanafi, Assistant Secretary General Shaheen Ali Shaheen and Director of the Joint Arab Foreign Chambers Hoda Kashtan participated in the meetings of the General Assembly of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin where the Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim, was elected to be the 1st Vice-President, and the president of the Union of Arab Chambers, and Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Senator Nael Raja Al-Kabariti as the 3rd Vice-President of the chamber.
The agenda and the minutes of the General Assembly meeting held on 15 May 2017 were approved at the meeting of the Board of Directors, in addition to the report of the President and the Secretary General.
The meeting reviewed the financial situation of the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and approved the final account for the last year 2017, acquitted the board of directors, approved the Chamber's draft budget for the next year 2019, elected members of the Arab side of the Board of Directors, and elected the German side for the board of directors as it shall be proportional to the number of Arab members within the Board of Directors.
The strategy and plan of action during the coming period were discussed, as well as the importance of joint efforts to promote and increase the volume of trade exchanges between the Arab countries and Germany, which enjoys enormous economic and trade power.
