2nd Italian Arab Business Forum

  • Rome, Italy
  • 16 - 17 October 2018

The Joint Italian-Arab Chamber of Commerce has organized the "Italian Arab Business Forum" in its 2nd Edition, it was held in Rome on the 16th and the 17th of October with the participation of a number of senior officials and businessmen from Arab and foreign countries.

The MENA region is undergoing an exciting economic transformation and a phase of social and economic reforms destined to reshape not only their economy but also the role of Governments.
Driven by oil prices stabilization at a higher level, unprecedented reforms designed to drive investment and private-led development and stabilization policies, according to the World Bank most recent outlook (April 2018) the economic growth in the Region is projected to rebound by 3.1 percent in 2018.
Such growth trajectory, which is yet still considered to be below potential, together with the tendency of governments across the Region to look favorably at the private sector as the engine of sustainable development also through public-private partnerships, pave the way to unparalleled business opportunities.
The Italian Arab Business Forum, now at its second edition, aimed to unveil opportunities and challenges while underlining the great potential of doing business with Italy, knowingly the third largest economy of the Eurozone and a strategic hub, with proven global competitiveness in ‘Made in Italy’ sectors.
The event served both as an informative and outstanding networking platform and provided access to key representatives of both the Italian and Arab institutional, financial and business communities.
It was a must-attend event, the Italian Arab Business Forum featured high-level Government officials, Investment agencies, businessmen and stakeholders, each contributed uniquely to the discussion thanks to their tremendous expertise and exposure in the area.
