The Saudi Ministry of Finance unveiled the preliminary statement of the general budget for the fiscal year 2026, which includes initial estimates of revenues and expenditures, as well as strategic goals aimed at enhancing financial sustainability.
According to the ministry, preliminary estimates for the fiscal year 2026 indicate total revenues of about 1.147 trillion riyals, while total expenditures are expected to reach about 1.313 trillion riyals, with a projected deficit of around 165 billion riyals.
Forecasts show that revenues will continue to grow, reaching about 1.294 trillion riyals by 2028, while total expenditures are expected to increase to approximately 1.419 trillion riyals during the same year.
