For the second consecutive year, Singapore's passport has topped the list of the world's most powerful passports, according to the Henley Index ranking. The Singaporean passport allows its holders to travel to 193 destinations around the world out of a total of 227, without the need for a prior visa.

Japan and South Korea came in second place, while seven European countries tied for third place: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Finland, Ireland, and Denmark.

In contrast, the U.S. passport dropped to tenth place, coming close for the first time in the index’s history to falling out of the top 10 most powerful passports. The British passport also declined, falling to sixth place.
