Oil prices rose on Thursday to their highest levels in more than two months after US President Donald Trump announced the evacuation of Americans from the Middle East, raising concerns that escalating tensions with Iran could disrupt supplies.
Brent crude futures rose 15 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $69.92 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 22 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $68.37. Both benchmarks jumped more than 4 percent on Wednesday to their highest levels since early April.
