The Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, Hassan Abdullah, received a delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers headed by Hassan Al-Huwaizi, with the participation of more than 100 major Saudi investors and members of the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council headed by Bandar Al-Ameri, in addition to seven ministers and senior Egyptian government officials.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt emphasized that "we have a strong banking system and will offer Saudi investors competitive deposit rates."
The Saudi delegation's visit came within the framework of strengthening economic cooperation and exploring available investment opportunities, coinciding with the Kingdom and Egypt's approval of an agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments.
