Jordan's tourism income increased by 22.8 percent during the month of January to record $ 680.5 million compared to $ 554.2 million in January 2024. According to data from the Central Bank of Jordan, tourism income from expatriate Jordanians increased by 22.7 percent, from Arabs by 20.2 percent, and from foreigners by 30.7 percent.
The data showed an increase in spending on tourism abroad during January 2025 by 29.4 percent to reach $ 184.9 million compared to $ 142.9 million in January 2024. Jordan's tourism income in 2024 recorded about $ 7.239 billion, a decrease of 2.3 percent, compared to 2023, as a result of the decline in the number of tourists by 3.9 percent.
